Joytime offers 

This year the children will be doing many nature and science projects. They will also use their theme boxes to learn about nature and their environment.  Many learning experiences will be taught around the Zoo-Phonics program for the three,four, and five year olds. This will include music, math, dramatic play, art and science. The two year olds and younger will be doing basic Zoo-Phonics with a theme based curriculum to help them learn about the world around them.  At circle time the children will be singing new songs with several new CDs that teach, requiring action filled movement. Children love to move, and we are starting an early morning exercise program.  Books about many different themes will be read from the Zoo-phonics curriculum.Colors, numbers and days of the week will be taught with activities and games. We will be celebrating birthdays all year long. For Valentines day we will have a Goldilocks and Three Bears Valentine party then a seperate ice cream social for the parents. The children will have an easter egg hunt at easter time. The summer is always filled with a lot of water play.  At Halloween we will have a big dress up party. In November, baking for the holidays will be a fun experience for the children. At Christmas, Joytime will have a pajama party one evening as a gift for the parents to go shopping, or out to dinner. The book bag program has been a lot of fun for parents and  children. Remember to select a book bag and activity for your child. Please take advantage of this program. The children are also enjoying their new science, writing, craft and manipulative centers. There is something new everyday for them to do at these centers.
